Terms & Conditions
PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
A non-refundable deposit of 50% (or full amount, if chosen to do so) of estimated total cost is required before session begins. Sessions will be delayed until this fee is paid. Photographer will send reminders about payment before session if not already paid. Remaining balance for session must be made to guarantee final post-production. Final edited photos will not be provided until all balances are paid in full.
Any cancellations that are made 5 or more days before session may be rescheduled once with no extra charge. If Photographer must cancel for any given reason, session will be rescheduled at no additional cost. If client prefers, any payments made will be fully refunded.
Clients who fail to attend their session without any notice will be considered a no-show, and any or all payments made will not be refunded.
OVER-RUNS
If a session requires any needed extra time, Client will not need to pay for first hour. Any time after that will be an extra $40 an hour for session only. No fee is required for extra post- production unless otherwise stated in advertisements for sessions or by photographer.
COPYRIGHT
All images and files, including original RAW formats and final edited JPEG images, remain in the property of the Photographer at Picture this Photography. The photographer has all rights to images photographed and edits made in post-production and can use them for portfolio work, advertising, company website, or social media purposes.
Client is granted use to print, share, and display images for personal purposes only. Any other professional use of images will need proper permission from Photographer.
ARCHIVING
Photographer will keep any Client files taken and edited during and after a session for a maximum of 6 months. All files exceeding the 6 month hold limit will be deleted by photographer. If Client loses or deletes their photos after 6 months, a new session may be booked, but the full session fee will apply.
LIABILITY
Photographer will take all responsible care during sessions to ensure safety for Clients and their property.
Photographer is not responsible for lost or stolen items in studio or on location.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss, or other technical issues, clients may rebook another session at no additional charge to replace failed session or have the option for a full refund .
Client agrees that in the unlikely event of any problem or claim related to services, the maximum amount client can recover is the total amount paid for the session.
By checking “Yes” in the booking form, the client confirms they have read and agree to all Terms and Conditions that are listed above. No photography session will take place until this contract has been read and the box is checked “Yes” on the booking form.
